George III Silver table

On offer here is a very early (circa 1760) Silver table in Cuban Mahogany
This little item is very useful as either a side table or as a silver cabinet to lock away your valuables.
It obviously has a key. £395
The top has been split and repaired - a bad break - but the patina on this piece is to die for. The top is inlaid with ebony and boxwood stringing and edges with zebra wood. Very impressive.
Its a very heavy piece with chamfered legs, original side handles, internal tray with gilt ormalu mounts.
